This is part 2 of the Women's series- Basic Pistol. In order to attend part 2 you must have taken a basic class or have the equivalent skills/experience taught in the Basic Pistol part 1 class. The purpose of this training program is to welcome women into a community that accepts & respects them, but still has the decency to recognize that guns, holsters, and even instruction are not “one size fits all.” The series is programmed to focus on three separate areas of firearms training: Women’s Basic Pistol, Women’s Intermediate Pistol, and Women’s Defensive Pistol. We will cover understanding pistols & revolvers, gun safety, shooting fundamentals, correct mindset & skills, concealed carry & concealment options, all the way through defense drills & techniques. For those who have taken basic pistol training, you may want to jump to the Intermediate Pistol or take the Basic Pistol for a refresher. Those of you who have taken Intermediate Pistol training may want to jump to the Defensive Pistol. Goals of the series are: 1. Provide a welcoming, knowledgeable & supportive instructional environment 2. Share the importance of firearms safety, ownership & training 3. Empower you with the knowledge, skills & confidence required to use a handgun safely & proficiently 4. Build the number of responsibly armed women 5. Encourage you to get out of your comfort zone, adopt the correct mindset for personal protection, and to train & practice regularly. CII will be offering each in a 3 hour segment. So gather your friends & family & get signed up! Cost is $50 and each segment will have time on the range with live fire. Up to 100 rounds of ammunition will be required for the course.
